01Who we are
24uur Taxi De Ronde Venen is a local taxi company based in Mijdrecht. We are the data controller (verwerkingsverantwoordelijke) for the personal data we process about you.
02What data we process
When you book a ride with us or contact us, we process the following data about you:
- First and last name
- Phone number and email address
- Pickup and destination address
- Date, time and number of passengers for the ride
- Flight number, if applicable (for Schiphol pickups)
- Payment details (processed only through a secure payment provider; we do not see your card details)
- For business customers: invoice address and Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number
- Communication by phone, WhatsApp or email
03What we use your data for
We use your data solely to provide you with a good service:
- To carry out your ride and send the right vehicle and driver
- To send you a confirmation and reminder by email or SMS
- To track your flight and adjust the pickup time
- To process payment or send an invoice
- To contact you in case of questions or changes
- To comply with our legal obligations (for example the retention requirement of the Dutch Tax Authority (Belastingdienst))
04On what basis
We process your data on the basis of the following legal grounds under the GDPR:
- Performance of the contract: to carry out your booked ride.
- Legal obligation: for example the tax retention requirement.
- Legitimate interest: to improve our services and prevent fraud.
- Consent: when you sign up for our newsletter or marketing.
05Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that we need in order to serve you:
- Our drivers: they receive your name, pickup address and phone number.
- TaxiID / booking system: for online booking and payment.
- Our accountant: for financial administration.
- Government authorities: only when we are legally required to do so.
We have entered into data processing agreements (verwerkersovereenkomsten) with all of these parties. Your data remains within the European Economic Area (EEA).
06How long we keep your data
We do not keep your data longer than necessary:
- Ride records and invoices: 7 years (tax retention requirement).
- Customer contact and correspondence: a maximum of 2 years after the last contact.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
07Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Our website runs on a secure connection (HTTPS). The booking form runs through secure.taxiid.nl. Internal access to your data is limited to people who need it for their work. We make regular backups and keep our software up to date.
08Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access: request which data we hold about you.
- Rectification: have incorrect data corrected.
- Erasure: have your data deleted where permitted.
- Restriction: have the processing restricted.
- Objection: object to processing.
- Data portability: receive your data in a commonly used format.
- Withdrawing consent: where the processing is based on your consent.

Our website only uses functional cookies that are necessary to make the site work properly. We do not place any tracking or marketing cookies. The embedded TaxiID booking form may place its own cookies; please see TaxiID's privacy policy for more information.
